Then I looked at my bank balance and fainted

Been spending time looking at our budget and our debt, sighing meaningfully and feeling sorry for myself. At this rate the only person who will be getting "new" anything will be the baby as she bursts, Hulk-like, from her clothes. Started the day with a mini-heart attack brought on by checking the bank balance. I've spent so much time being ill or taking car of ill toddler I didn't know it was November and thus, rent had been deducted. Seeing the sad, paltry amount left I screamed, "Me money!" and passed out like I was Victorian lady faced with unpleasantness.

I regained consciousness when Toddler Flails-a-lot whacked me in the nose with her teddy bear and demanded to see my belly. She likes to poke belly buttons. Then we went to the library.

So that was my day. How are you?

  1. What a double edge sword not being homeless is. And the need for childcare brings the plague. What's a girl to do.

    1. Eat a lot of chocolate and buy NyQuil in bulk! Costco is my new best friend.
