Weekly faces #17

Sorry for lack of post yesterday. I decided to spend last night eating like a monster. We're talking four servings of meat heavy food plus salad and ice cream. Both Hub and I ate for two hours straight instead of being productive and then went to bed. Husband-cat tried multiple food groups - his post-dinner meals consisted of big bowl of oatmeal and raisins, peanut butter and jelly sandwich, and half a bag of popcorn. Is there an opposite of winter feasting, like summer scavenging? One too many visits to the fridge had me feeling like a vulture -- I kept looking for some new things to pick at.

Inspiration for the above drawing was a prickly flower that somehow morphed into a made up faux African tribe-ish / Mad Max look. I would love to walk around with giant porcupine spikes as part of my look but Toddler Flails-a-lot would probably just snap them off. Besides, my current regime of cotton t-shirts and jeans is so damn stylish people are physically hurt by my visual awesomeness.

Moving on, I was sitting next to Toddler Flails-a-lot over-sized Minnie Mouse doll when I drew this. Can you tell? I would love someone to wear this all day and never mention the ears poking out of her hair. Better yet, pile your hair into ear shapes and then not mention them.

I should have put electricity sparking between her pointy bits. Hehe. That sounds dirty.

  1. I would totally wear that minnie do and never say a word about it ... totally straight faced even if someone else mentioned it.

I am, though, that person who at sixteen wore little stickers on the tip of her nose at work at the Hallmark store ... while I recited Shakespeare (it was a homework assignment)... and then play dumb when someone had the courage to mention any of that.

Of course, I also always offered to give said person sticker-earrings!

    1. Stickers solve every problem. Just like duct tape.
