Painting interlude

No drawings today due to emergency room visit. Ear infection instead of bronchitis. Huzzah!

Instead, for your viewing pleasure, this painting I found on Pinterest. I would totally dress up like this painting for the next comic book convention...if I had any free time.

This totally justifies all the time I spend looking at shiny things online, right?

In other news, I've been listening to this song over and over again because it so perfectly captures the feeling of not being able to love again. Slightly humorous to anyone who knows me, because the only long term relationship I've ever had is my current one (almost to a decade, woot!) so I've never actually felt this way. Perks of a not being a relationship chick in my younger days, I suppose. Or, y'know, a commitment phobe.

  1. ooh...wish I were not in a quiet study room so I could listen to the song ... alas!
And I dig that bird hair, but then it made me think: What about fish scale hair?!
yeah, I don't have time for shiny things, but somehow they still invade my thoughts... or maybe I indulge to procrastinate, nah ...:)

    1. Yes! Fish scale hair is completely genius. I may use that for a drawing...or costume. That would completely sweet. Plus, if you had it in real life, no muss & fuss 'do.
