Sorry for the radio silence on the blog. I got sucked into the vortex of political debate and drama via Facebook, phone and text about the California propositions and the elections. A big cluster cluck of disheartening opinions and anger. I don't why I got sucked into it, that's life I'll never get back. Frankly, it bummed my ass out, but after two hours of incredibly painful deep tissue massage, I don't care any more. I voted last week. Bring on the dog and pony show. Gimme graphics and holograms!
Oddly enough, today everything has gotten quiet. The Evangelicals are quiet, no doubt praying for our eternal salvation because we're godless heathens. My Libertarians friends (all two of them) are crying quietly into their soup. My Liberal friends are fighting like cats in a sack over whether GMO labeling is
"bad" science. Who knew that would be the firebrand issue? My friends who are actually getting out the vote are flooding Facebook with gleeful virtue, as well they should.
Hopefully tomorrow will look less like this:
...but I won't hold my breath.
